1990 Isuzu Pickup
When you hear about the brand name Isuzu, the first thing that comes to your
mind is large and heavy trucks. However, Isuzu's products are not limited to these
large commercial trucks. They also manufacture smaller passenger trucks like SUVs
and pickups. For 1991, Isuzu Pickups are divided into three basic trim levels:
S, XS and LS trims. Within these three basic trims are a variety of body styles
and sizes. These pickups are either in standard bed, long bed, or Spacecab (extended
cab) designs. They would also come in either 4WD or 2WD driveline.

The standard engine for most of the Isuzu Pickup trims is a 2.6 liter 4-cylinder
engine that produces 120 hp of power and 146 lb-ft of torque. A 2.3 liter 4-cylinder
engine that produces 96 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque is also available for standard
bed and long bed S 2WD trim as well as for the standard bed XS 2WD trim. 5-speed
manual transmission is also standard except for some 2WD models that are equipped
with the 4-speed automatic shift. Among the above mentioned trims, the LS are
the more equipped one. Although the Isuzu Pickups are very basic in design and
amenities, the LS trim seems to get more standard and optional equipments than
the other trims. Tachometer, cassette player, and tilt steering are standard for
the LS while cruise control, sunroof and power windows and door locks are options.
All of these features are totally unavailable for the other trims. Common to all
trims, however, are antilock brakes as a safety feature.
